Kerri Fergusson

Kia ora, I have over 25 years of experience working with both Central and Local Government in the field of investigations. I have complemented this with a Diploma of (NZ) Policing and Master of Arts - Fraud and Financial Investigation. Having trained and worked as an investigator and manager of investigators I became aware of the need to develop a course for those wanting to learn investigations that could be used as a baseline or to enhance their skills in this field of work.

Having worked successfully on investigations in New Zealand and with foreign countries on cases of Fraud, Exploitation and Trafficking, I have also helped coach and train investigators to use Data Analytics and Intelligence to identify victims and offenders of serious crime, anti-money laundering and large scale fraud. This made me realise that to be successful in combating crime across any regulatory agency, there was a real need to help others learn investigations well and the programmes we have developed are evidence of that.
